Going to my first play was really fun, even though the seats were too close together and there was always a rush for the bathrooms at break time. The theater staff were organized and the security checks were good but not annoying. The show, aimed at kids, had lots of cool effects that were hard to figure out. Despite the tight seating, the theater had a great atmosphere, especially for the Harry Potter show. I'd definitely recommend it for a magical night out.

-Had a good time.-I would say that maybe they could reduce the seating by giving some extra space next to you, as well as in front of you. I'm sure people wouldn't mind paying the difference in the loss the theater had.-I was shoulder to shoulder with a guy, and my knees were touching the seat in front of me. If anyone needed to pass, like go to the bathroom during the show, the whole row would have to evacuate. Not a great design. However, this was my first play, and like I said... it was absolutely a good time.-Security were thorough in their job, yet didn't set you off in a foul mood before trying to enjoy your evening. They did great!

When you are in New York you must visit the theater, they say. It was time to do this and write a review about it. Let me start with the fact that a lot is written about buying tickets at a discount. I can imagine that for many people an entrance ticket can be quite expensive. I chose to buy a ticket via the official website. Just because I like certainty and I didn't feel like looking for a discount website. The theater is located on a side street of broadway near Timesquare. It is a very accessible theater and the employees are very friendly. Three days before the start of the show I received practical information and the tickets by email. They advise you to arrive an hour before the show starts.I find the prices of the drinks very expensive and during the break (15 minutes) it was very busy in the toilets. Those are actually my most critical points. The musical Harry Potter is really great. 3:30 am, but the time has flown by. Beautiful, quiet parts of the show alternate with magic and spectacle. to the musical is a must see with great dialogues, jokes.

An amazing theatre in the heart of the Great White Way. This 1998 restoration build of its timeless features of two old theaters is well worth a visit. It has designs of a modern theatre yet with hints of decades old feel of a classic Broadway theatre. It is currently home to The Harry Potter and the Cursed Child production 👍🎭⚡️

The bathrooms don't accommodate everyone at intermission so you really have to hurry to get in line, otherwise you'll miss some of the second act. Honestly I enjoyed the show even though the main target audience was kids. Lots and lots of special effects involved, some tricks are much harder to figure out than others. No spoilers but the whole theater environment is really part of the play. I was impressed at what tricks they had up their sleeve.

The staff is so well organized and the theater is absolutely amazing. I had corner seats but I enjoyed the harry Potter show just fine. The actors are so amazing. The production quality and special effects blew me off. I have never seen anything of this quality.

Exquisite old theatre. Much larger than expected. Excellent clear sight lines from the first row of the dress circle. Seats are somewhat narrow and low but otherwise quite comfortable. Came for the afternoon show of Harry Potter & the Cursed Child - what an interesting show it was. Wonderful special effects and magic tricks. Staging is so well done. The story was very well paced, never a dull moment - the 3+ hours flew by so quickly even for a non-HP fan. There’s lots of tempting merchandise and memorabilia to empty your wallets with. It was full house and everyone seemed to have had a swell time. 9/10.

Really nice theatre, beautiful architecture and rather large! Harry Potter and the cursed child had great special effects and some cool magical tricks. The storyline was dead at times, and the acting was sub par. I'd recommend going to see a musical instead.

Went to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child this weekend and the performance was absolutely incredible. The theatre itself is beautiful and clean, and lines move fast for drinks and snacks. Could not believe how spectacular the stage setup was and the special effects. Very nicely laid out seating as well. Sat in Orchestra Row A and even right in front of the stage is great views of the performance.

It is an amazing theater. I sat in the Orchestra zone and it’s worth the money! One bad point is that restrooms are very crowded during brake especially women’s restrooms and that’s not good. By the way, the show is great. There are lots of effects that make me surprised. Really recommend to watch the show.

Amazing theater and has an old luxurious charm. We saw Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The choreography was breathtaking and so nicely integrated with visual effects. They also used projectors to augment the stag and hanging dementers even till the balcony seats. The balcony seats can be steep climb up the stairs if you go from the side. The seats in general are small but somehow decently comfortable for about two hours.

Me and my friends went to this Broadway show to celebrate my wife’s birthday. She being a huge HP fan she went over moon while watching the show.I was blown away with the set, lights, visuals, props and sound effects. The effects after the time turner completes was superb. They have very efficiently used the stage and the transition felt so smooth from one scene to another.I bought 5 tickets online using AMEX entertainment portal which significantly reduced the service fees for me compared to any other online ticket service.I would highly recommend the show with friends and family. If you are potter-head then you should get ready for a emotional and exhilarating journey.I am not sure if the reduced show time from 5 hours to 3.5 hours has any effect in the quality of the show. I certainly enjoyed the show for the duration it lasted.
