Moulin Rouge Musical Tickets

Moulin Rouge, premiered on July 10, 2018, at the Emerson Colonial Theatre in Boston, is an intriguing musical based on the 2001 film directed by Baz Luhrmann and written by Luhrmann and Craig Pearce. Moulin Rouge opened on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, with previews starting on June 28, 2019, and officially opening on July 25. Ever since the opening, it has been one of the trending Broadway musicals to hit the theatres.

Moulin Rouge is about an English writer, “Christian,” who traveled to London to join the Bohemian revolution. He visits the city’s biggest nightclub, Moulin Rouge, and falls in love with its star performer and courtesan, Satine. It was a case of mistaken identity at first when Satine mistook Christian for Duke of Monroth. The plan was for Satine to impress the Duke of Monroth, who might invest in the Moulin Rouge and save it from financial ruin, and she ended up impressing the wrong person, hence the beginning of a love story.

Moulin Rouge is a musical that has a combination of beauty, truth, freedom, and love. You are most likely to enjoy the live performance. Everything about the musical is so captivating, from the music to the choreography.

Moulin Rouge received a total of 14 nominations and won 10 awards (the most for the evening), including Best Musical. The musical is indeed a masterpiece, and it will continue to stand out as one of the best of its time.
