To Kill a Mockingbird: A Classic Reimagined
Directed by Tony winner Bartlett Sher, this Oscar-winning adaptation will grace the stage of the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre from November 21-27. 📅
Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of): A Musical Twist on a Classic
Following this, December will see Isobel McArthur and Simon Harvey’s Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of) at the CAA Theatre from December 14-January 7, 2024. This Olivier Award-winning comedy from London’s West End offers an irreverent retelling of Jane Austen’s classic romance novel, featuring pop hits like “Young Hearts Run Free,” “Will You Love Me Tomorrow,” and “You’re So Vain.”
Uncle Vanya: A Celebrated Production Returns
2024 will kick off with the Crow’s Theatre production of Uncle Vanya, an original by Anton Chekhov and adapted by Liisa Repo-Martell. This acclaimed production, directed by Chris Abraham, will play at the CAA Theatre from February 2-25. As David Mirvish stated, “This production made many 10 Best lists, and it stars a who’s who of Canadian theatre. Its run, although extended, was not long enough. It needs to be seen by many more people. This Off-Mirvish outing will allow that to happen.”
Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead: Screen Favorites Take the Stage
Wrapping up the season will be Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead, starring screen favorites Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan, known for their roles as Merry and Pippin in the The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. They will star in the leading roles of Tom Stoppard’s play in the Neptune Theatre production at the CAA Theatre from March 5-24, 2024, under the direction of Jeremy Webb.
