Broadway and Disney Theatrical Productions Pass for Disney’s The Lion King’s long-awaited return will go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 22, 2021, according to an announcement made in Detroit. Once again, on January 27, 2022, Detroit’s most keenly anticipated return to the Detroit Opera House stage will begin for a limited engagement that will go through Sunday, February 20, 2022. The four-week run of the show at the Detroit Opera House in 2017 was a sellout.

The Lion King Detroit will run from Tuesday through Friday at 7:30 p.m., from 2:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Saturdays, and from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Sundays. There are also Premium Ticket Packages available, which include premium seating, a souvenir programme, and a unique goodie bag. Tickets will be available at the Fisher Theatre Box Office, on VividSeats.com, and at Broadwayseats.org beginning on Friday, October 22, 2021. The first ticket is $25, and the others are on a scale ranging. Group orders of 10 or more should be made by phone at 313-871-1132. On Sunday, January 30th, at 6:30 p.m., there will be an Open Captioned version of the show. The timetable, pricing, and cast of the show are all subject to change at any time.

More than 20 million people have seen the Lion King touring shows in North America. The Lion King, which has previously performed in more than 90 places throughout North America, will now proudly return to Detroit at the Detroit Opera House.
