Peter Scolari in the role of the Wizard and Michael Genet as Doctor Dillamond will say good bye to audience on February 5. This is when their final bow in the show “Wicked” will take place.
However, the producers of the musical already have a replacement. P. J. Benjamin will take on the role of the Wizard and Chad Jennings will execute the role of Doctor Dillamond. The new changes will be implemented on February 7.
Mr. Benjamin has a prolific length of service at the theatre. His most famous pieces of acting are “Wind in the Willows”, “Torch Song Trilogy”, “Ain’t Broadway Grand”, “Sophisticated Ladies and Charlie and Algernon”. Jennings played in such well-known shows as “War House” and “South Pacific”.
